What is involved in care?

Initial Office Visit

Your first office visit will consist of:
A discussion of your history, Orthopedic and Neurologic Exams, Paraspinal Digital Infrared Imaging, and Precision Laser Aligned X-rays (if necessary).

This information helps to determine your health status.

Your 2nd office visit: (report of findings)
come visit
Information obtained during your initial exam is used to determine a treatment plan which will be explained to you during this Report of Findings. If you choose to begin care you can receive your first adjustment during this visit.
Infrared Thermography Paraspinal Digital Infrared Imaging

Paraspinal Digital Infrared Imaging is a computerized, non-invasive, & painless thermographic (heat measuring) instrument. It is used to detect irritation of the nervous system. This is performed by moving a sensitive scanning device along the sides of the spine and is used at every office visit. The scanner is used on every visit to determine when an adjustment is needed. After an adjustment the scanner is used to show that a correction has been achieved.

Abnormal Scan:
before adjustment
(crooked line)

Normal Scan:
after adjustment
(straight line)
Precision Laser Aligned X-ray

If during your examination tests reveal nervous system irritation, x-rays are
then taken. This helps to determine the upper cervical vertebrae's position
(top two bones of the spine) . The x-ray images are then analyzed for any biomechanical changes in the spine. Be assured that radiological exams are performed only when clinically necessary to insure proper patient care.
X-Ray
Typical office visit:
Each office visit begins with a Paraspinal Digital Infrared Imaging

If it is necessary that will be followed by a specific adjustment(s). Our office strives to provide you and your family with the most specific chiropractic care possible. A primary focus of care in this office is placed on the upper cervical spine. We will however still focus on your entire spine.

After each adjustment patient’s lie down in private recoup suites.  This gives your body time to adapt to the adjustment.  We then bring you back into the treatment room for a post scan.  Now we can compare the before and after scans to know we have made a positive change before you even leave the office.
